I'm Amanda. I wake up every morning and am so thankful to have landed in a career that I am so passionate about. I get the privilege of spending my days with some of the most amazing women and helping them enhance their God given beauty. 

Cosmetology has always been an interest of mine, but I honestly didn't feel like the shoe fit. I could never be a gymnast because I cannot cartwheel, and I suppose I believed that because I couldn't braid I could never be a hairstylist. 

I married my high school sweetheart when we were 19. Two months later he was in Basic Military Training for the Air Force. A little over a year later we welcomed our first little boy, Eli and two years and two days later his brother, Ian. We left the tiny town in Tennessee we grew up in and spent six years within miles of Washington DC and now are thrilled to be living in San Antonio, Texas. While my husband focused on his career I stayed home with our boys and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Marketing. 

When my youngest started pre-k I began exploring future job opportunities and quickly determined that the typical marketing job was not going to excite or fulfill me. I wanted a career that I would love and that would enable me to have the flexibility to work alongside my husband's ever changing schedule while giving our boys the best life. 

My attention redirected to cosmetology and within months of making the decision I was being trained by Paul Mitchell Systems. Education is so important to me and I am constantly seeking out classes to enhance my natural talents as well as improve on my weaknesses... side note, I can braid hair now!!

I believe communication is a critical step to getting the hair of your dreams, so I take the time to listen to my clients problems and desires. I am super particular about the brands I use and believe that healthy hair is beautiful hair.
